Chapters 1, 2 and 3 of Rath Dalton's Earth Unraveled

This is a pictorial review of my favorite book, Earth Unraveled. 

It is a horror/thriller by Rath Dalton.

It begins

Tom Brooks is a combat soldier in Iraq.  He rescues a fellow soldier.  He also uncovers and Iraqi spy and kills him.  He is discharged for the unsactioned kill.

Tom travels to Manchester, NH to find work and a place to live.

He crosses the arch bridge to Elm Street.

                                               He meets Solero Costas to rent an apartment.  Costas is a WWII veteran who was at Omaha Beach on D-Day.

He also meets Costas's grand neice, Lyn.  She lives on the second floor and is very protective of her Grand Uncle.  She works at the mill where Tom got a job.

Tom gets a nettle sting on his hand that looks like the Nehushtan; that's the snake.

Flick

                                      Tom meets his roommate, Flick.  They don't get along.

Grippa finds a body in the river.

                                                Tom goes to work at the shoe factory.

                                             Tom's boss takes him down to the zoom room.

                                                     He makes Tom move the zoom.

                          The old line shaft starts to run.  Tom leaves the room and goes upstairs.

                                     He rescues Axel after he is caught in the shoe machine.
